FAVE INSTAGRAM TOOL: PLANN
Are you using Instagram at your community? If so, keep reading for a tip that has helped us! We want to give you a little insider tip on an app we love to use for posting to Sprout’s social pages. It’s called PLANN and it's an absolute lifesaver when it comes to posting for your community! Here are a couple reasons why we love this app.
Draft posts ahead of time: With PLANN, you can draft up posts ahead of time! Instagram doesn't allow foreign apps to post any pictures on behalf of a user, but having your posts ready ahead of time cuts out the legwork. Plann reminds you to post your previously drafted image and message at the time you designate it to! This allows you to focus more time on all the other important things you are doing onsite! If you would like your posts to have a similar look and feel, use PLANN edit and filter your posts to create a consistent style.
Review your performance with analytics: See which are your best performing posts + what’s working well on your page. You will also be able to see which times of the day work best for better performance. PLANN even tells you which are your best hashtags and color schemes. After your history is built up in PLANN, view which hashtags that have the most engagement and save your hashtags for easy posting!
Create an Instagram strategy: PLANN allows you to create your own posting strategy! You are able to choose from their pre-selected themes, or make your own custom story. Add focus notes to keep you on track and goal oriented when it comes to your Instagram account.
Collaborate with your team: It's impossible to do it all! Share the load when it comes to posting to Instagram with your team. You are also able to use PLANN across multiple devices. We encourage you to plan out your social posting through the month in PLANN and when things get busy you know your social is ready to go!
