Today we are going all over the place in terms of potential resident events you can host at your community in March.

From watching the stars at our own Oscars night to going all-in on green at our sustainability bash, we’ve got something that’s bound to get everyone excited. Let’s dive into what makes our community the place to be this March. Ready to roll?

 

One event - three ways

The Glitz and Glam of The Academy Awards Watch Party (March 10)

Sub Title: A Night of Stars and Style in Our Community

Transform your community space into a glamorous movie premiere venue to celebrate The Academy Awards. This event is not just about watching; it's about experiencing the magic together.

EVENT #1:To Go All Out, hold a watch party your way by selecting some or all of these activities below:

Host a watch party with snacks and drinks. Invite everyone to dress to impress!

Set up a red carpet photo opportunity so attendees can walk it like a star. Have them bring their furry friend for added fun.

Have residents fill out their best guesses of the winner for each category. Each correct guess wins a point. The person at the end of the night with the most points wins a prize!

Have residents play Bingo and keep watch for the clues on their cards. The first person or team to get Bingo wins a prize!

Utilize this theme as a way to also recognize your on-site team during commercial breaks or host a full awards night for your staff!

EVENT #2: GRAB & GO

Invite your residents to stop by and grab a goodie bag of watch party snacks and treats. Your snack packs could be any or all of the following.

EVENT #3: WATCH PARTY GAMES

Build up anticipation for March 10th by posting online! Share your Watch Party Games invitation in your feed ahead of time, then share the games on your stories the day of the awards show!

When residents participate and tag your community, they can either win a small prize or be entered to win a bigger prize!

Mini prize ideas could include a small plastic award, a balloon with a card, confetti poppers, or a treat bag delivered to their door the next day. Larger prize ideas could include a gift card, a discount, or home decor of their choice from our Sprout Shop!
