Infuse memorable moments into these events that promote social distance, but still keep everyone feeling connected!

  1. AUGUST 2 - NATIONAL COLORING BOOK DAY

    • Host a virtual coloring contest, or take it up a notch and provide coloring pages with a little pack of crayons that residents can pick up. Invite them to color the pages and post them on social. Don’t forget to create a unique hashtag!

Note: Highlight your community lifestyle by weaving in mentions of your amenities without it feeling sale-sy. People are spending more time at home now, so you want them to know they’ll enjoy life at your community. Where is the best place to enjoy a cold glass of Prosecco? Probably on your patios!

August 15 - Relaxation Day

Where do you relax? This is another great opportunity to highlight a relaxing lifestyle at your community.

Promote the Neighborhood

August is Romance Awareness Month and the Last Weeks of Summer. Tag neighborhood businesses to visit, restaurants for takeout or local spots to hangout.

BONUS: Cross promote & Outreach in One:

August is Golf Month. Promote a local golf club (especially if they are preferred employers). I’d follow it up with a phone call:

“Hey! We know it’s Golf Month and I wanted to know if you have any specials or promos going on? We’d love to promote your club at our community and want to pass on those specials to our residents. Can I send you some information about our community in case any of your employees or patrons may be interested? Maybe you could set it out in your lobby.”

Ask for referrals

August 1 - National Girlfriends Day

People miss their friends, their family. This is a great opportunity to not only remind residents about referral bonuses by asking them to tag the ladies in their life, but to create connections.

Welcome post:

A warm _______ Apartments welcome to all of our new residents that are joining our community this month! Our team is beyond excited to have you here and we look forward to getting to know you better and making plenty of memories! After all, this is your home now! ❤️️#welcomenewresidents #[apartmentname]newresidents #welcomesummer

Post this to welcome all new residents this month, but take it a step further!

Create a welcome home gift with peppermint patties, a mint plant, or a box of peppermint tea!

We remember time in moments - little snapshots of life. When our residents look back on their life over the last few months, what can we add as a bright spot for them? Take a little extra personal interest and make an impact.

Instagram stories - a new way to engage

People are tied to their phones, more than ever it seems! Engage with residents through Instagram stories with interactive activities like a maze or “stay at home” bingo! Sprout members: Head to the social plan page to download a bunch today!
