If you’re a part of the Sprout Community in any way then you know that we just released some BIG news and our new project has finally launched! Our new podcast called Marketing Home, Marketing You is now available for all you awesome peeps to dive into. 

Our CEO, Barbara Savona, being the lifelong learner that she is, launched this podcast out of a passion for creating content that is easy to consume while still being jammed packed with education and value for the listeners. This podcast was born out of a desire to create a space where all housing professionals can come and discuss all things marketing, business growth, and career development. Seriously, ALL housing professionals - multifamily, student housing, senior housing, affordable, brokerage, real estate.

background check! who is barbara savona?

Barbara started in this industry over 18 years ago, by accident to some degree. She got a job in the industry during college thinking it would just be a good place to work while going to school and in one way or another has always stayed in the industry she calls home. 

Throughout her 18+ years in the industry, she has met some truly inspiring people which is one of the things that we are so excited about with this podcast - all the amazing people we’re going to be able to talk to that have tremendous insights and experience in our industry. 

 

What can you expect from this podcast?

We will shake up the podcast format, sprinkling in some interviews with industry leaders, training sessions & deep dive workshops into all things marketing, live coaching calls, as well as ‘Barbara and Friends’ episodes. 

To give you a sneak peek into one of the episodes, we have an interview with Mark Hurley, Chairman and CEO of Highland Commercial that we will be releasing soon that we are PUMPED for you to hear! The advice that Mark gives and the points he makes in the interview with Barbara Savona go beyond smart marketing for your apartment community and business. Mark’s sincerity and conviction when talking about how he and his team operate is proof that this industry is not for the faint of heart, but rather for people full of heart. You’re guaranteed to be encouraged when you listen. PLUS, Mark may or may not have spilled some secrets about a secret society that you don’t want to miss.
